Dana Vaughn: Enthuse

The first thing you notice when you meet Dana is her warm whimsical smile. She embodies the fun that is the FUN in UPA which blends beautifully with the serious mission of what we’re all about. Thoughtful, ever caring, kind and attentive to the needs of others, she never ceases to surprise and delight. Often invisible in what she does. Everything seems to happen with such ease, like magic. A warning however, one must not be deceived by her light-hearted nature. She is one sharp cookie when it comes to packaging.

Dana began her career as a paralegal and legal assistant. In 1990, she joined Associated Paper working as an account manager. Five years later, Dana took on the sales manager role embarking in a field that had traditionally been very male dominated. Her deep commitment to serving customers, consultative approach with manufacturers and vendors, fearlessness in seeking help and asking questions catapulted her into a 20+ year career in packaging working for a highly successful distributor. Today she is highly experienced and well regarded by her clients because of her humble and service-oriented hands-on approach. She loves packaging and is always ready to go the extra mile for her clients and vendors.

“Everyday I’m enthused to make a difference for packaging, doing things, big and small with clients, colleagues and community.”
