Judy Estrada: Challenge

Judy is the critic in our group. She keeps us honest, speaking her mind, digging deeper, and offering different perspectives. Judy is thoughtful and practical, no task too big or small. She is the advocate for ALL people in packaging, at every level, not just the highly educated professionals. Her good judgment, no-nonsense attitude and spirit of inclusiveness is the unique voice of leadership that she brings to UPA. Judy brings a heartfelt conviction that the packaging industry will continue to evolve and sees UPA as an important vehicle for the future.

Judy has been involved with the packaging industry directly and indirectly for over 20 years. With a background in sales and business administration, Judy got her start in retail sales working as a territory sales manager consistently achieving the top sales position. Partnering with her husband, she co-owned and operated Pac Systems Corp, selling to the pharmaceutical, medical device, food and contract packaging industries, with offices in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. After returning to the US, Judy joined the Red Cross at their National Headquarters in Washington DC applying her broad organizational skills supporting multi-cultural groups in areas of diversity and advocacy.

“I love a challenge and I know what we’re creating at UPA for packaging goes far beyond your typical networking association.”
