Suzanne Daigle: Ignite

Suzanne is passionate in her beliefs that each and every person should have the opportunity to fully contribute at work, beyond the hierarchy and our sector specific roles. We are missing the boat, she says, if we don’t invite, include and involve people broadly to participate on the most important strategic issues. The speed and complexity of change in the world demands no less. By taking a stand for the value that individuals bring, she helps ignite human potential everywhere she goes. Her spirited approach becomes infectious for all of us.

Suzanne got her roots in manufacturing working for a billion dollar, multi-national forest products company with operations in the US and Canada. She spent over 20 years in various roles starting from the ground up with overall responsibilities in communications, corporate strategy, government affairs, labor relations, media affairs, public relations and human resources. A short stint in telecommunications led to radical shifts in corporate culture which were enough to have her take the leap into consulting. As a founding partner of NuFocus Strategic Group, Suzanne specializes in trailblazing approaches such as organizational self-management, Open Space Technology and Agile methodologies beyond Software, each of which invites shared leadership and decision making beyond traditional hierarchy.

“Igniting each other to create and contribute to something bigger than ourselves. That’s the mission of UPA for packaging.”
